Turntable view of my Big Chap model. In making this I wanted to be as true to Bolaji Badejo's proportions as possible...I might have thinned it out even more in places to get around the man-in-a-suit look. For the head, I aimed for a blend between Giger's suit and Rambaldi's animatronic. There are still areas I want to refine, and I haven't started a proper texturing pass yet. Aside from LOTS of reference from the source, I had plenty of helpful images to cross-reference from people who did the hard work before me, and posted beautiful photos of their own models such as 3dklos , Kotobukiya, Prime1 and Sideshow. Those were very handy for understanding certain areas which didn’t get a lot of coverage in BTS photos, and inspiring me to keep going whenever I’d lose steam :P
